Shoutout to HGTV for setting unrealistic expectations on how long it ACTUALLY takes to renovate a home! We’ve been residents of Fleming Island for exactly four months now and have plenty still in front of us to build our dream home. Or as I’ve been referring to it, the DINK shack! Mavs got used to the new space really quickly, he likes the backyard but loves his spot in the corner chair of our bedroom the most. Our kitchen has been completely redone, what a much-needed change. I’m loving the white and marble look and looking forward to pairing some light grey matching furniture pieces for the living room. My Pinterest is completely packed full of ideas but we’re taking baby steps until we’ve finished with everything! Next up is setting up the living room and being able to host some gatherings in the coming months.
